Meet the Farm Dogs
Milo, Dolly and Sophie are very much part of the Lower Winsford Farm family and are usually never too far away from whatever is happening around the farm.
As a family of animal lovers, we believe that pets are family, and our three canine companions certainly keep life interesting. Whether they’re helping with the daily rounds, supervising guests from afar, or simply enjoying a sunny spot in the garden, they are very much at the heart of farm life.
Part of the Family
As a family of dog lovers, we know how important it is for your own four-legged companions to feel welcome too. That’s why dogs are very much part of life here at Lower Winsford Farm.
Whether you’re bringing your own dog on holiday or simply enjoying meeting ours during your stay, we hope you’ll agree that life is always a little better with a wagging tail nearby.

Milo
Milo is a lovable Poodle Bichon who is often mistaken for a little lamb thanks to his fluffy coat. Full of love, cuddles and a gentle nature, he never seems to tire of making new friends.
If you’re willing to throw a ball for him, you’ll quickly become his best friend for life. Whether he’s chasing his favourite toy, enjoying a fuss, or simply following us around the farm, Milo is happiest when he’s close to people.
He is also the proud dad to Dolly and Sophie, whose mum is a Miniature Dachshund — a combination that has certainly resulted in some unique personalities!

Dolly
Dolly is the adventurous one of the trio. Always curious and confident, she loves exploring every corner of the farm and investigating anything new that appears.
Like many siblings, she and Sophie spend much of their time playing together, although they can occasionally be found arguing over who was there first or who deserves the most attention. Between them, they’re usually responsible for most of the mischief around the farm.

Sophie
Sophie is a little more cautious than her sister but makes up for it with plenty of personality.
Curious, affectionate and always keen to know what’s going on, you’ll often find her following closely behind us as we go about our day. Whether she’s helping with the animals, exploring the gardens or simply looking for a cuddle, Sophie loves being part of the action.
Whilst she may take a little longer than Dolly to make new friends, once she gets to know you she’ll happily become your loyal companion during your stay.
